The Historical Society has opened a gift shop in the Historic Holt house to raise funds to help maintain the Holt house and the annex building. All items are handcrafted by our volunteers and donated to be sold to raise those funds. Since the Historical Society is a non-profit organization we rely solely on donations, volunteers, and fundraisers in order to keep our doors open to the public. So when you are looking for a handcrafted oe of a kind gift or specialty item please consider stopping by or browsing our photos below to see if anything strikes your fancy 🙂
We are open on Wed 11-3pm Eastern time and for special events such as the folk festival and holiday shopping. So be sure to check the face book events pages or the Historical Society Face book page for announcements for those special event.
If you are not local and see something you would like to inquire about purchasing then just call the historical society at (304)804-2054 to make arrangements for a live view via face book chat, inquire about shipping, etc. We do require pre payment and buyer pays shipping costs.
